Okay, seems like that fix did not work as intended. Changed the xms varieable and its now working correctly. 

 

 

 and the XmX to 2048.

 

@Dennis You had right minecraft need more ram to run. 

recommended is 2GB.

Final solution:

 

Use paper instead of orginal minecraft.jar

 

paper uses less ram and more features.

Sorry for the delayed reply.

Using Paper doesn't fix that Java will use more RAM than you assign to it - but by default, Paper will use less RAM. It will still be able to go higher than the limit, though.

No problem at all @Dennis!

Well i still do think Paper is the best choice, However i added a RAM limit to each service in the service manager and they works perfectly fine  But the good thing with Paper is if there is no people connected the server goes in a idle mode and goes down to 1Gb of RAM usage. The most RAM usage i have seen running with Paper version is 8GB RAM and crashes when it reaches over 8GB due to RAM Limit i have setup.

Has anyone had trouble starting the server with Forge 1.17 or 1.17.1 in tcadmin?

How can I run the latest version of forge? Now the .jar file is in another path and when executing it from tcadmin it throws compatibility error

Edit: I've just tried installing the latest version of Forge. The jar is not in a different folder.

will there be a update in code for v 17 + of java ? i tried adding the code manually chjanging the java 16 code to 17 and it failed to download so i guess it doesnt exsist. thanks @Dennis

There's no need to change it to Java 17. Java 16 is recommended for Minecraft 1.17 and newer.

Thank you for the script.

Unfortunately, I get the following error message when starting the server.

The file "E:\TCAFiles\Users\DRT_Support\221\minecraft_server.jar" could not be found.

There I seem to have forgotten something during the configuration. I have selected Minecraft Vanilla.

What did I forget ?

You need to download the latest minecraft.jar and place it in your C:\TCAFiles\Games\minecraft folder.

Great that with the startup error has worked but if I want to install now eg All the Mods 7 comes the following error

That's due to how Forge installation works after 1.17. I'll see if I can find a fix for it.

Due to the update to Pre Release 2 for MC 1.18 Snapshot, Java 17 is now also required and does not run with any other Java version

Unfortunately there is no Java version 17 available on the HP https://adoptopenjdk.net/.

Let's see if I can get that changed and the download from here will work

Well, the conversion is underway but the download is currently missing and the change to Forge. There the commandline has changed completely. Or how to start Forge

There's currently no reason to upgrade to Java 17. The recommended version for Minecraft 1.17 is still Java 16.

The Minecraft modpack installer will have an update as soon as I fix the Forge-problem with version 1.17 (still not related to Java).

If you want to play 1.18 Snapshot you need Java 17

It'll require some changes to the script that decides what version of Java to use when starting the server.
